5th Annual Evening 'Round the Campfire

Camp Conrad-Chinnock invites you to warm your hands around the campfire and the hearts of children living with Type 1 Diabetes as we celebrate our 5th Annual Evening ‘Round the Campfire, theme “Growing Together” at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Resort and Spa in Anaheim. Enjoy your favorite skits and songs performed by our children as we raise critical funds to support the operation and rebuilding of camp.
For more than 50 years, Camp Conrad-Chinnock has been a safe haven for thousands of children living with Type 1 Diabetes. Your generous support will help us to continue the work of educating children and their families in how to better manage Type 1 Diabetes and learn to cope with the challenges of living with it every day.
If you are willing to demonstrate your support or recognize your favorite camper, we ask you to consider becoming a sponsor or purchasing an ad in our event program. We truly appreciate your love and commitment towards camp and those living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Dr. Robert Chinnock Family Award

The Wilson Family has been a very special part of Camp Conrad-Chinnock since 1947, when the first foundation were put in place. Bob and Cindy Wilson were part of the original service club that worked in conjunction with the construction crew that built the cabins, dining hall, and lodge for the Centinela Valley YMCA. Every one of the Wilson's five children went to take both staff and leadership roles in camps programs. The fourth child, Rocky Wilson, has been the current camp director since 1979.
